オランダ フンデルローの森 Hoelderloo

フンデルローの森は、オランダでも一番自然豊かな場所にあります。ここに1週間滞在。ちょうど夏至が近かったのもあり、日没は夜9時半、8時くらいまでは真昼のように明るかったです。

オランダに来る度に感動するのが太陽の光。底抜けに明るく透明で、光と影のコントラストがびっくりするほど強くて綺麗！なるほど、光と影の画家レンブラントやフェルメールを生んだ国なのですね。

バンガローでは、ゆったりした時を過ごしました。お散歩すると、野に咲く花々が本当に可愛らしくてただ見るだけでは物足りない！持参していた画材で、義姉さんからプレゼントしてもらったスケッチブックに暇さえあれば絵を描いて過ごしました。

森の中を歩くと、美しい野生のジギタリスの群生が。白樺や松の大木もたくさん見られ、香ばしい松の香りが森に充満していました。牧草地には羊の群れと羊飼いがいて、珍しい羊の毛刈りも見る事が出来ました。

 ここでも、オランダの家族とゆっくり過ごせて良かったです。

静かな森の中で自宅にいるようにリラックスして過ごし、時差ぼけから復活した後は、ズッフェン、デン・ハーグへ向かいました。

Hoenderloo is a part of a national park which has the largest nature in the Netherlands. We stayed there in a bungalow for a week.The longest day was approaching, the sunset was around 9:30 PM.

What strikes me every time I visit the Netherlands is the sunlight. Its brightness and transparency are remarkable! Indeed the masterpieces of Rembrandt and Vermeer were born in this country...

I painted some things from Dutch nature during my stay here, on a nice tiny sketch book which my sister-in-law gave me. How wonderful it was to see wild digitalis in the woods! The woods were filled with a nice smell of pine trees, also pleased to see lovely white birch trees.

It was a relaxed and cosy week, including some nice family visits!

After a week, we left the bungalow and visited Zutphen and Den Haag.
