少しお休みをいただき、平戸へ。二年前に訪れて、大好きになった場所。海や街並みが美しく、ゆったりとした空気が流れていて、加えてオランダとゆかりの深い地という事で色々と興味深いのです。
店主が野花が好きだという事を知り、持ち歩いていた自分の本「四季のきせき」をお見せし、ここに置いて頂ければと差し上げたところ、思いがけず店主とそこにいらした常連のお客様がその場でお買い求めくださって・・・お客様は「最近、欲しいものを聞かれたときに何も出てこなかった。けれどこの本は欲しい、と思った。自分が求めていたものだった」と言って下さりました。なんて温かい方達でしょうか。本当にありがたく思いました。
坂道を沢山歩いて、前回見れなかった色んな美しいものを見る事が出来ました。きっとまた訪れたい場所です！

We visited Hirado island again after two years. We love the beautiful sea, city, and the relaxing atmosphere of this place. Also this island had historically interacted with Holland.
I visited a beautiful cafe that has almost 50 years of history in the city, which we visited two years ago. The lady who owns it likes wild flowers a lot, so I showed my own book to her. To my surprise, the owner and a guest who was enjoying her time in the cafe purchased my book. The guest said that she found the thing she really wants to have, which feeling she didn't have for some time. I was so grateful!
We walked a lot of steep slopes there and enjoyed many beautiful things which we missed the last time. This island is definitely the place we want to visit again!
