思いがけず・・・ Unexpectedly...

一冊目の本「森の家から」の原画は、訳あって手元に無いのですが、思い掛けず10枚ほどが手元に戻ってきました。もう見ることは無いと思っていた絵なので、余計に嬉しいです。絵に直接テープが貼られているのはちょっと残念ですが、状態はそれほど悪くないです。久しぶりに見ると、色んな事を夢見ながら描いていた20年前の気持ちまで蘇るような気がします。

Today, unexpectedly I received about 10 old paintings of mine which were included in my first book, for an inevitable reason I decided not to own them myself several years ago. I'm so happy to see them again! Somebody put some pieces of tape on the paintings, that wasn't very wise to do...but the colours are still ok. The paintings bring back hopeful feelings which I had when I painted them about 20 years ago.
