The afterglow of summer
Relentlessly cast on the ground in the afternoon.
A tepid breeze was absolutely still,
Chirping cicadas sounded a bit tired.
I was walking around with a parasol
And found small parasols of mushrooms here and there
Between burnt - brown ferns.
Bushes were embraced by the sunset and
Slowly swaying behind them.
As the shadows of the trees became bigger
I closed my parasol quietly.
The mountains in early autumn
Began to lose their liveliness night after night.
